Personally I'd never stay in a hotel within Kuta.

Garuda is the only full service flight. AirAsia is excellent for a budget flight - no alcohol though.

The rest are just poor examples of what an airline should be - budget or not. Qantas doesn't service Bali anymore and Singapore Airlines is via Singapore only.

Yea agreed - Garuda is quite scary.

Worst wind shear landing I ever had was Garuda into Perth. I've flown for years but I was shitting myself on that one.
