1. Noble M12 GTO-3R - For a backyard British workshop to show the world that you dont need a quarter of a million dollars to build a Supercar (They can be bought for about $50k AUD now with less than 30,000km on the clock..)
2. Toyota 2000GT - For Being the First Japanese Car to actually give Europe a right Scare! 3. Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R - For being the Japanese Car that redefined Touring Car racing and forced CAMS to swallow its balls and change the rules so as not to tick off the Yobbo Ford/Holden faithfuls on the Mountain. 4. 1964 Lincoln Continental. The car that just redefined Pimp. 5. ALL Alfa Romeo's - For being the cars, that remind us consistently, that no matter how many problems and issues we have with our cars.. It will never be as bad as owning an Alfa.

Toyota Landcruiser / Hilux would have to be in there as one of the best 4x4 production vehicles of all time. They are truly, and have been proven to be unbreakable. They do set the benchmark...
Maybe I'm biased? |

Depends on your definition of 'greatest' as to how the list will be populated. As I am interested in fast/race/rally cars I'd be biased that way.
So in no great order: 1. Ferrari 250 GTO 2. Shelby AC Cobra 427 (the reason why there are national speed limits in the UK) 3. McLaren F1 LM 4. Bugatti Veyron 5. Ford GT40

It was like turning up to the Evo vs WRX day in aa F1 car! P.S i am not a hater but as time has gone by people sprout all kinds of shit about how they banned the GTR just cos it won, when the simple fact remains that it should never have been there in the first place!

I don't know the ins and outs of it all, but surely the GTR was given the rules to meet and it met them? Otherwise how did it race in that class?

The GTR raced was part of the same Homologation 500 + cars rules that the Sierra and Walky had to comply with. So long as they were playing by the rules it was legit. The dowfall of the Group A format was the homologation requirements. It was basically forcing race cars onto the public roads in order to win races. ....moving along.
