Well, my contract clearly states free phone, so why would I send it back? Plus wtf are they going to do with a scratched ipone 4 without a box and used headphones?

We have had the same issues, and are not trying to leave - just want a decent service!
They did give us a $100 credit last week though.

Just been let out of my contract with vodafone using the HTC desire HD. Have to see what options are out there regarding my next handset and account.

I went the $49per month $400 worth of calls and 1gig data p.month plan with Telstra. Comes with iPhone 16gig

Goin to port my number elsewhere tomorrow... was able to terminate my contract with no exit fee but i have to return the handset... but oh well.. shit happens.. cant put up with no receiptions anymore...!!!

off topic a little bit, but optus are a fucking joke frankly, our Internet frequently cuts out, for sometimes hours and refuses to work after resetting EVERYTHING...still does not work, We have called and have been informed of temporary disruptions and bullshit..
Worst part is that when we upgraded our data usage from 4 GB/month to 10 GB/month it was all good until the bill came, and it was apparently 5GB over our allowance....??? and were charged an extra $100....which was strange, called and questioned, and apparently, our plan had been changed to 10GB then changed back again to 4GB....??? how??? I don't want to explain the countless problems with vodafail....there is probably a reply limit... Share some more problems :P Brett |

Reckon Vodafone must be hurting....
My wife was experiencing issues with her iPhone 3G with 3. Dodgy reception - would go on roaming and not go back to 3G service. We had turned data off when roaming, but somehow each month we would get a small charge (1 or 2 dollars). Rang 3 helpdesk to see how long was left on her contract so we could terminate it, they put me through to priority service who offered to move her to Vodafone, waive the 6 months left on the 3 contract, and also knocked $10 per month off the handset repayment. She now has an iPhone 4 16GB on a $45 unlimited plan (unlimited calls to landlines & mobiles & unlimited SMS) + $8 handset repayments. My mate had recently moved from 3 to Vodafone and reckons his reception was fine. So far (a week on), the Mrs is happy with the reception, and no call drop outs. Worst case scenario, if it turns to shit, call TIO and complain to exit. Go straight to Telstra. /CSB |
