I've mentioned numerous dropouts etc, but now I have to prove when I've had dropouts etc so they can search the call logs.

From what some people are posting, they are just calling and getting out of it...

Also, any news when their network will be back to normal?
That's what I want to know John. When I threw my toys at Vodafone and wanted out, they wanted all kinds of shit to do so. I ended up giving in and they came good a month or 2 later. I am going to try and get out of my contracts as I will be going to a place where VF reception is non existent soon.

John ill update you tomorrow.

We are talking vodafail on another forum. just happens to be a guy pretty high up in Vodafone on the forum, he is going to ring me tomorrow and give me some options.

His first convo said they are fully aware of the WA issues and are frantically preparing to upgrade the network.

If this is 6 months down the road, too late for me.

You don't need to mention much when contacting the TIO afaik, all they seem concerned about is the fact that you're having a problem. The details seem irrelevant.

I basically said the reception is bad, sms messages are delayed and calls are dropping out.

In the "resolution required" text area just mention you want to be released from contract. In about 7 days you get an email from the TIO saying that they have passed on your complaint to vodafone, and that vodafone has 10 days to get back to you.

You will then get a phone call from the vodafone complaints department and you just mention all the problems you've had.

I specifically mentioned that I'm looking for work at the moment and that its terrible trying to speak to a potential employer and having phone calls drop out on you all the time. Same goes for people who actually use their phone for work purposes.

They will then try to hustle you into giving you free credit for a few months, in my case because i mentiond the job hunting issue they said free credit clearly won't help you and that they are prepared to release you from contract as long as you send back the mobile phone to vodafone.

Send back the phone?

Well, my contract clearly states free phone, so why would I send it back?

Plus wtf are they going to do with a scratched ipone 4 without a box and used headphones?

I am only talking to Vodafone at the moment. TIO is the last step imo, if I can't get a resolution from Vodafone.

So far calls have been made explaining drop outs / data not working etc. I was expecting a credit to be offered, but instead I have been told to prove when the dropouts occur (time/place) so they can investigate.

I would like to know if there is a timeframe for their upgrades to be complete, because other than the last few months, Vodafone have been very good to me.

If the network upgrade is just a load of BS, then it's back to Telstra.
