Just me personally, I like the fact of how thin the Ipad is and dont want to fatten it up by over covering it when im holding/using it, therefore would just get one of these (they are mint!):
Apple - Smart Cover - Cover up, stand up and brighten up iPad 2.

If you want further protect it when carrying it around etc buy a special ipad carry bag or something maybe? I just have it in my work laptop bag that I take everywhere anyway.

If you want a keyboard, just buy one of these for home:
