This can only be done with the new 4.3 software coming next week.

Or you can jailbreak and create a wireless hotspot with the phone.

I have a wifi model as it is either used at home or work, both where I have wifi available. Paying for a sim card to do nothing seems like a waste imo.

Yeah the exact reason I dont want the 3g version. but being able to teather would get me out of trouble some times , more for work reasons.

Jailbreak and install Frash. Same as what all the andoid fanboys have.

The fail with flash is it expects a mouse for hover over menus etc. That doesn't work on any touch device and is the main reason Apple doesn't have it as you could imagine the amount of complaints it would generate.
