That is true, all i am saying is that it is a rumour. A few Mac sites and forums are reporting this. I highly doubt it as well. It would piss off a lot of people who buy the iPad 2.

The rumors are they want the iPad to have it's release cycle in line with the iPods.

I don't see it happening.

Best Remote desktop Software I have used is Team viewer, Even control mac via pc's and back the other way. though can be laggy when images are moving on the screen.

I even use it from iphone only thing that makes it hard is screen size, Thats where ipad would come in handy.

So can the ipad teather to Iphone for internet on the wifi models ?

Im the same Tim... thats one of the reasons why I will be getting a Ipad.

Ive held off for this long. Next I will be upgrading my Macbook Pro. I refuse to buy an Iphone tho.

For those of you considering ipad, definitely get the 3g version. Prepaid is cheap, relying on external wireless is a pain in the arse unless it never leaves the house (whats the point in getting one in that case).

My new macbook pro arrives tomorrow Finally get to throw this pile of shit thats called a Dell.

Just remember if you have a iphone4 no point getting the 3G iPad version when you can tether your iphone to your iPad and use your quota on your iphone plan.
