Not directly, no.

But that's what we are pointing out..... that all those American posts are saying that the Tsunami is payback for the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor. Which is pointless and simple minded!

Nah wasn't saying that because of what you said was just commenting on the link you posted and what the yanks were saying.

Are you sure about that!!! Why did the US go to war with them then as they certainly weren't before the bombings!

That last video is insane. Just shows how devastating it is.
That guy in the tarago took off quick smart too, I hope he made it to safety.

Also a silly thing to bring up, but was that a ralli art colt floating away at the start?

It's a sign that part of the reactor has suffered at least a partial 'thermal runaway'.

Let's hope they avoid a criticality accident.
"In that case, the uranium core can melt through the outer containment shell, releasing radioactive byproducts like iodine and cesium. That endangers the environment and people nearby.

Late last night, the chief government spokesman said there were signs that the fuel rods were melting in all three reactors, all of which had lost their cooling systems in the wake of Friday’s massive earthquake and tsunami

“Although we cannot directly check it, it’s highly likely happening,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told reporters.

Some experts would consider that a partial meltdown. Others, though, reserve that term for times when nuclear fuel melts through a reactor’s innermost chamber but not through the outer containment shell.

Officials held out the possibility that, too, may be happening."

No way.. Chernobyl was a Russian fuck-up, pure and simple.

The Fukushima reactor simply can't explode in the same way as Chernobyl.
