I should probably wear it more, spends a lot of time sitting in a box.
Love my TAG(s) have both the original (now dead due to diving fail) and modern LINK.

Current model. I'd advise against the white face ones though as they're difficult to read the time at night.

Plenty in Bali to buy but why?

A basic Tag is just over $2k and you can get them interest free over 2-3 years.

Just dont do it. I have a bag load of Bali watches given to me and I never wear any excepting one which my mates call the Austen watch as a laugh to the odd party.

Buy a real one and enjoy the pleasure. My first TAG was on my wrist for nigh on 20 years til I screwed it up by failing to screw the lug back in and then went diving. Salt water plus watch internals is a fail.

Don't do it. You'll never enjoy it.

Part of having a nice watch is they kind of have a soul. I love the Carrera I got for my 21st last year. I will keep it and love it for life. I also find the mechanical movements super neat (especially on watches with a clear case back and you can see it).

Save up and get the real thing if you really want it. It'll be something you'll enjoy for years.

Plus getting 25% off the retail price isn't unhead of.

Or look up ROLEX OMEGA PANERAI CARTIER watches by Nicholas Hacko, watch dealer Sydney - Australia , he sells second hand watches (mostly rolexs, mmm submariner ) but gets plenty of Omegas/Tags and many other brands too. Subscribe to his newsletter, lots of the stuff sells before it hits the website.

My uboat was fake

Cost 350 US dollars. Full auto, all functions worked, correct weight and size, took alot of looking to pick it as a fake. Loved wearing it, also hated wearing it because I knew that it wasnt legit.

If you are going to go down that line, be prepared to be honest about it.

I've been wearing this for a couple of years as a best, got a few seikos and pulsars for work

I'm looking for a new best to replace this as this fast became my daily wear as it was so comfortable to wear

I was a gymnast for 13 years and one strict rule at the club was no jewelry, so wearing a watch is extremely foreign to me, and normally I can't wear one for more than 5-10 minutes. When I was in Toyko this year I grabbed a half decent watch to see if I could put up with it now I'm a bit older. So while hardly "awesome" as per OP, I've managed to keep it on my wrist for the last 6 months so might look at upgrading it next year. Japanese hate "last season" stuff, so this was ~$400 reduced to ~$85 as it was an outgoing model.
