3 Day weekend, the rex in the carport and nothing better to do then go for a cruise

Finally getting back behind the wheel of the GC8 for the first time since I was hit in it 5 and a half months ago!

New 6 speed is win, and so is driving to my work in an industrial suburb

Yep same for me, mine has only been out for just over a week, but man I love that feeling of starting the old girl up, listening to that dak rumble and driving it down the road after having it parked up due to being broken.

The WRX has been fixed and out and about for a long while now... I've been more broken that it was, and only been a passenger in it since then, but finally beat the nerves today and took it out


Was planning on doing this last weekend, but got hit again going home from work that Friday (how some stupid woman didn’t see a 2 tonne, 2 metre high tank, I'll never know) and wimped out again. Decided today that I needed to just get the first drive over and done with, did it, and it’s awesome

Feeling like I've accomplished something after changing my room around, and then taking the Rex out and having a girly night

Ditto. Feeling like I've accomplished something after spending the best part of 5 hours washing both our cars inside and out. Although no girly night out for me

But on the other hand a bit disappointed that my 1990 Honda Integra (read: little auto shitbox run around that hasn't been washed for at least 8 months) came up looking better than my 1999 GC8 (read: my baby/pride and joy) that I wash every other weekend.

Should have picked up some extra elbow grease at the shops :-p
That helps epic shineyness on said pride and joy.
