Apparently they had a faulty battery requiring a full recall and replacement.

Well done either way. If you can get over all the safety BS they are a great company to work for. Remember you cannot get in trouble for following orders. Even if it's a 2 minute job, check the work instruction/JHA fill in your 5 step, wear all your PPE and fill in all the other paperwork they ask you to.

After some tense talks with the boss (the old man), he has given me the greenlight for a new company car (2012 WRX). Pushed for an STi but it proved a bridge too far to cross! Now hoping to squeeze into a premium under budget although I dont have a budget perse.

Now the fun part, negotiating with dealers - all keen to move a MY11 and make a deal, but not keen to do a deal on a MY12.

Whats the difference between the 2 models.

The dealer told me its exactly the same, no changes? So as far as I know, changes are in MY13 model.
