The closest I've got to 100 is low 90's.......its bullshit fast though. My wireless around the house runs at 20mbps which is pretty much faster than a lot of peoples hardwired ADSL's.

My ADSL2+ gets 300kbps download as i'm 4km's from the Kallaroo exchange (i'm right on the junction of Marmion Ave & Hodges ave). I will need to have my cable lead-in re-dug due to the guy who built the extension on my house cutting the cable, and reconnecting himself with inferior cable apparently.

I'm so excited about it, it's sad really - i'm such a geek

Can't you just use the existing cable as a draw string for a new cable?
Have a 10m metal spring snake that is up to the job of pulling a new one through, granted that the conduit is in good condition and not broken.
