Yeah its pretty awesome, was a cold winter, had a few weeks of -20 to -30 and heaps of snow. Mountains are coming good now in the spring so plenty of riding for April but will be done by May. Work is good, keeping busy. Would still be jobless in Australia if i was still there.

I opted for Hakuba out west as it doesn't seem to be affected by the Aussie factor as much.
Still plenty of Japanese people and culture there.
But yes, I noticed a big difference between Tokyo/Kyoto and Hakuba in terms of Western influence.

Hakuba is the same in my opinion. Was there a few weeks ago.
