It's really funny how most people think that harder springs make more bounce like a pogo stick
...in reality it's exactly the opposite lol put harder springs on that kid's pogo stick and he will crash flat on his face as he won't bounce for shit rofl

Its the harder spring mixed with the increased rebound Speed from the larger valving. The beginning stroke is going to be pretty harsh. Which i guess will help negate some of your rub issues. I just dont think its wise building your handleing around a set of wheel.
