will be plenty forgiving... its not all about spring rates and dampers, the valving matters in how it all comes together.

Yea agreed DC... it's just how it will be for a while "if" track rub is an issue, until I order more jap wheels.

Edit: also when I buy some jap rims for track they won't be concave or offset or for looks, it will just be flat face lightweight dull looking rims. Those were bought for street and looks, if it does turn out to work ok on track then that will be a plus, else will get track rims.

Hardened dampers means the rockwell of the steel is harder. The actual fact they will specifically harden a set of shocks different to the standard ones is a bit far fetched.

The larger valves means it should ride differently and take bumps better.

More fluid means that it will operate at the standard ability for longer before the oil becomes too viscous. Really only nessesary for HARD track work.

Yeh ok Ross. I read the hardened damper as the internals would he setup stiffer, which wouldnt make sense if the valving size was increased. Thanks for clearing that up.
