You've made the right decision to get a rex.
Yeh I bought my first wrx about 6-7 years ago now and have had them since.

I did a full engine out/turbo overhaul project on the 300zx and it was unbelievably difficult to work on! You touch anything pretty much = engine out. Pig of a car once you actually need to do any work on it.

The anti-hijack feature can be dis-abled if that's all your problem is.

I replaced my brant with the autowatch and haven't looked back. Macy/Bumpstop installed mine for me. I also live out bush and have to contend with gates and what not. It was all intergrated into the Key remote as well so no extra things to add on to your key ring. So I recommend giving Bumpstop a PM about it.

Get an autowatch and go see Macey at westside in cannington.

He removed all of my brant system and every single wire that belonged to it.

Perfect job.

user manual may already be available on this forum somewhere but if not you can request one from Brant here:
Brant Car Alarms, Immobolisers and other vehicle security systems

Should tell you how to disable having to enter a pin number all the time - mine is turned off

I wish every Brant Alarm a slow and Horrible death, by fire. Then put out. Then set on fire again.
