two camera plinths setup way south of cockburn central on kwinana freeway (wasnt taking too much notice of exact location) CCTV cameras and guard rails up but only one camera box in place as of this morning - north and south btw

That's the position where the Police stated it was going to be both a reverse and forward camera set-up to photograph the offending vehicle front and rear. So it may not be covering both southern and northern direction.

I may be wrong though.
