As mentioned vouchers each member I got them $100 Coles myer vouchers so they can use at several shops including alcohol beverages!!

Plus got the three days off between chrissy an new year for each staff member, which I guess It would equal to $1000/$1500 paid as some are on day rates/doesn't come out of accruals etc....

And introduced a bonus scheme after a crazy year... Geos find stuff and get share price over $1.00 we get Bali trip... Over $2.00 Mauritius !!!! After months of fluttering 11-12 cents, The New board have put us at 16 cents in just two weeks, things could be looking up for early next year!

Friday 23rd knock off at 12 then pizzas or BBQ lunch

gifts are a big ass leg of lam and bottle/carton of alcohol of our choice!

Getting $3k bonus on top of our usual pay for working Xmas and boxing day, and an ok Xmas party.

Referring to the small business guys giving out $1500 gift card bonuses etc just pointing out that there could be FBT or tax + super that needs to be paid on these items.

I know lots of people that one year splash out telling everyone it is a tax deduction, then get the bill from the accountant and become a tight ass the year afterwards. Better to know what you are up for and the best accounting way to do things imo.

Personally I would like the ATO to allow a 1 off Christmas bonus up to a certain value that is tax/super charge free. Would also stimulate a lot of spending in the economy.
