Wiggle have a good range but aint necessarily the cheapest. Try this page if you know what you are chasing, it will interrogate a number of reputable websites based on whatever product you stick into the search criteria.

Frugal Rouleur

I tend to buy locally from Wayne @ TBE Osborne Park where I can, but stuff can just be too damn hard to buy locally, or is stupidly priced due to too many layers of middle-men .
Yeah shop around. Wiggle is good, but more often than not I've found cheaper. 99bikes is pretty good.

Nice work Joe! Yeah those half link chains can chew out your chain rings too. What size gear you running? Fixie helps to keep your cadence up. I have really enjoyed it while i been doing my other bike up. Its in the shop getting a new paint job now.

SHE got it for ME, not the other way around Russ. And NO she isn't fat.. she wanted me to share in one of her interests (cycling).. I now love it.

P.S I'm curious why you would ask that?

Very nice! Got some pics and specs of yours???

Running 44:17 at the moment, its nice. I'm running 170mm cranks, could have probably gone a 172.5mm or 175mm crank because I get a tiny bit of saddle bounce at top speed, but 170mm is a good trade off between a nice fast spin and leverage to get up hills. 165mm or 167.5mm would have been impractical on the road IMHO.

I thought you said you got it for her. Therefore i assumed it would be a back handed way of saying "lose some weight fatty".

Its a fun sport till you get pains. Im suffering from a sore neck now...

I used to be into MTB but just road ride with my hard tail now...annoying riding with mates who have road bikes as they are so much faster...but I do it for fitness so I don't mind...

LOL I thought that was the case because anybody who's met my Fiance would know shes far from fat haha.

Yeah, I notice my neck/back get a bit sore from being crouched over the handle bars for 60km! Feels so damn good though after a decent ride. Have entered the Great Perth Bike Ride on the 24th of November. Just doing the 50km ride (25-30kmh class).
RUSSGT likes this.
