Got the App working last night.

I did get my replacement wifi bacpac in the end, this time I got all the firmware updates to work (my tip is to use a pc with USB2 and not USB3 when doing the firmware updates).

The iPhone App requires another round of firmware updates to be applied to the camera and wifi backpac. You need to download the latest version of Cineform to do the firmware updates.

My thoughts:
- it's handy if you don't have a LCD bacpac (or are using the wifi bacpac) for frameing your shots.
- allows you to change all camera settings via the iphone which is handy.
- there is a 2 second delay with the video feed on the iphone, which is a little bit of a pain.
- the feature to view video/photos from the GoPro's SD card did not make it in this release of the app.

I feel I will get good use of the wifi bacpac and remote for track days and snowboarding, but I think the iphone app is of limited use for my needs.

Im planning on using the app/streaming when I go kayak fishing so that when I use my sounder and find good ground I can drop the camera down and have a good ole squiz at whats down there

New toy has arrived, 1/4 mile in 11.2 sec and only 114hp!

After a few updates I got mine running, the delay to your iphone is just a tad annoying, once I use it for activities we shall see if it's a big pain or not.

Has anyone tested the distance which the wifi device can reach? I've only so far been able to use it in close proximity.
