When I was looking for the STI, I test drove a Black Evo X at Wangara Mitsubishi that was being offered as a demo. Apparently the dealer principle used it as his daily. It had higher mileage than they were advertising and when I saw the scuff marks on the tyres and stone chips around the arches it put me right off.

Yeah, I guess they cover it all with the warranty, but for the extra coin (small % of the total price), I thought new was better IMO.

Mine is modded and tuned (no warranty anymore) although I did claim "other" warranty issues.

Partner's Tiguan will be traded at 3 years (end of warranty) so ...

I see no issue with purchasing demo vehicles.

I drive "Demo" vehicle's to and from work every single day. They aren't treated any worse than any other car i've owned or borrowed before - especially as I would be held responsible if any damage is done - the companies $2000 excess puts me off thrashing anything I drive!
