Tara the exact same accident happened to me, make sure u register your crash with the motor vehicle accident/injury thingo, so if you do get fucked up from your whiplash like myself, u can get free compo on physio from her insurance, or if u decide to pursue legally u have your case up against her. GRRR who would do such a thing to a hatch. Did u get witnesses?

yep have been to the docs and got checked out.. and i shall investigate this "motor vehicle accident thingy" you speak of... had a friend go through similar thing and hes pro at dealing with those ppl now.. so i shall get expert advice.

there was a witness.. the lady in the van.. and i remember her walking around saying she was a witness and that someone should take her details.. but i was too much in shock and too scattered to do it. dont know where she went or if anyone got her details

so frustrating.. you take so much care of your car... park it in safe places.. get whiz bang alarm... spend hours washing, polishing and waxing.,. all to be ruined by some silly bitch being too impatient and not waiting an extra 30secsto be sure the road is clear. and theres not a damn thing you can do about it.

such is life *sigh*
thanks everyone for all the handy advice etc. and i will listen to it all

Bugger BUT seriously, cars come and go. Personal experience over the last 3 years says people dont

Its far better to be telling us via this post than Dan telling us...

Good luck dealing with insurance :P Hope it works out in your favour (well as much as it can!!)
