For car crashes, an accident report number is issued, not an I/R (Incident Report) Number. You can ring any station and they CAN (dont let them say different) look up your rego plate and it will show the details of the prang on out system. It takes a couple of weeks to get on there due to paper trail etc but it will be there.

The proper crash file number will be attached to that one. Good luck with it all.

ps thanks to everyone who called/smsd about the deck for candy.. all sorted ! Got all my stereo, radar detector hardwire kit, y pipe, bleed valve everything out of the car which made me feel alot better !
