New 7 speed DSG's have issues, 6 speeds are all fine. Some of them occasionally have issues which need mechatronics replaced and software updates, but if it's a brand new car, who cares?

1.4 TSI motor are crap, in the mkV they were good, they have been tuned way too lean from factory in the mkVI and also have piston ring issues which means they chew a lot of oil. Still, all brand new warranty work, who cares?
