lol @ the cunts white knighting dealerships....

These stories from Tony might be bulshit or might not be who cares but to defend dealerships like nothing dodgy ever happens is some bulshit in itself.

All this reminds me of a survey done some months ago, it was on Perth's most unpopular professions/retailers :-

The winner was real estate agents, followed by car dealers/salesmen

Well in fairness I hate a pushy real estate and car salesmen. But overall had a good run with most I have dealt with.

#1 Worst Experience - Real Estate Agent: We don't have that house but we have others in the surrounding area. Apparently Caversham, Middle Swan, etc are all close to Maida Vale/ High Wycombe...

They told me this only to have me drive to their office in the city, struggle to find parking, have to wait past the appointed time and get told the above places.

Some car sales people are dodgy.
Some buyers are morons.

Now everyone STFU and go clean the sand out of your vaginas.

Best rip off I ever saw was about 12yrs ago when I was driving taxi's, I got a job in Karawarra, so I pulled up and an Australian native gent steps into the car and tells me he needs to go to the lotto office in Ozzy Pk and get a piece of paper then go to a Hyundai dealership on Wanneroo Rd up Balcatta way because he'd won a brand new Hyundai Excel and was hoping he could do a deal and get the cash instead of the car as he had no license and no need for a brand new $12,000 car, so eventually we get to the dealership and I went in with him to see what the outcome was.

So without actually even looking at a car he goes to a salesman and tells his story, well the slippery cunt offered him $7,000 as he explained the car was now second hand (even though he hadn't looked at a car and could choose any one he wanted colour wise etc) I was going to open my mouth and offer him more for the car but fuck it, he was happy with his 7k and we drove straight to the nearest bottle shop and bought a plagon of goon which he nearly polished off before we got back to Karawarra.

I'm sure most of Narrogin celebrated when he got back the next day.

Obciously the kid says yes and the dealer whips out some forms and tells the kid he has to sign them to tes drive the car. The kid signs the forms and goes on a test drive. Little does he know he just purchased The car. Upset and confused about what just happened he goes home and tells his dad. Dad rings the dealership and pretty much gets told "to bad" he signed for the purchase of the car subject to finance". They ended up buying the car.

Does anyone have anymore stories about sneaky salesmen?
This happened to a female friend at a certain mazda dealer in canngton. She thought she was test driving an mx5 signed some papers and they demanded payment for the car. She got out of it though, i think her dad knew some big shots in the legal profession .

Anyone that signs a legal document without reading it should be removed from the gene pool.

As for shonky dealers etc, anyone that has worked in the panel and paint industry can tell you about new cars that are repaired and put back on the lot like nothing ever happened.
When I was an apprentice still, we had a EL XR8 come in minus a front bumper and lower rad support damage. Apparently the car carrier had turned too soon and dropped off the ramps on his truck. We fixed the damage, put on a new bumper and when it was done I was given the dealer plates and told to drive it back to centre ford. I had only had my license a few weeks at that point and it was wet. I was shitting myself every corner!!!

Many, many new cars experience transit damage and are fixed before going to the showroom. More often than not it it is caused by retard casual employees employed by the shipping/transport companies (my old man works for Patrick Autocare).
