My F&P top loader has been used and abused for 12 years.

Sadly, there in lies a problem. 12 Yrs ago is not today's build quality.

Bosch, Bosch, Bosch. Parents, Grandmother, Aunty and myself have all had various Bosch washing machines for over 10 years.

Whilst not a washer or dryer we have had nothing with ongoing issues with a Bosch water heater which has left a very sour taste of Bosch products.

We have a LG front loader.
It held up to 3 kids ( 2 boys) worth of washing then all my tradie life after that.
Office workers don't get dirty :-)

I'm looking at buying LG when I grow the hell up later this year.

Yea - so far the front runner is the LG 10Kg steam front washer and 9Kg Eco Heat Pump Dryer.

Amazingly, three load a week calculations have the energy saving at $1000 a year ... Makes the close to $4k purchase look palatable. Further being work deduction for Meg helps as well.

There meant to be stackable ... Why one is stainless finish and other is white is fucking beyond me. :-S
