Kawaskai are launching a 250hp supercaharged effort supposedly in the first half of this year.
Should be interesting.

You can easily go and get one of these 250hp beasts, but unfortunately there's not many places in perth you can use them. They pretty much speed limited the whole swan river, apart from under the narrows which is still unrestricted to PWC last time i checked.
We just sold ours last year, novelty kinda wears off having just one. Although, get a mate to hire one and take them both out. Safer this way too in case anything happens to one of you while ur out and about. Edit: Forgot to mention as well, get one of the ones which sit down low, the ones with higher seats have a very high centre of gravity and you'll be falling into the water everytime u stop

I used to have a Yamaha GP800 and it was great fun, even the wife enjoyed it. We used to ride from Maylands Boatramp to Deepwater Point (when that was a PWC zone).
The novelty does wear off along with the cleaning down after you've used the boat. My recommendation would be to go for a Stand up ski, Kawa or Yamaha as it takes some time to learn how to ride them and I think long term they would provide more fun. If I got another it would be a stand up ski. Good luck in your hunt, Mark |
