600rwhp+ is great for bragging, but getting it down and 'using' it is a different kettle of fish. You'll break out in every gear, and roll on's in 4th will end up in smoke...........cool thought

I still think you should use whats in place as it will be plenty tractable and be far from 'slow'.

5 or 6 speed?

A lot of BA 5 speeds are starting to shit themselves as they simply cant handle the power / torque but thankfully the 6 speeds are proving themselves ok so far!

based on the post mortem on the tear down of the engine i have decided to go with the fully built race engine, turbo kit and go for 500+rwkw.

ill keep you boys posted, on tuesday im meeting with the so called xr6 turbo guru from xtreme ford tuning to put plans in action.

Simon is a tool.

my mates clutch plate or flywheel plate was lose and making a weird sound took it to simon said his motor was fcuked and need a rebuilt took it west racing (tim) and fixed the prob in 30 mins and cost him hardly nothing.
