This thread motivated me to change my ISP.

I was with iiNet stuck on 512Kbps since the Sth Perth exchange is full and it could be ages before I can get ADSL2 speeds.....1.5M connection is $99, so I told them where to go.

Now with Amcom.....12M for $59 a month, much better.

Yeah the mods on local don't seem to mind taking their bat & ball home if they don't like how your playing. I logged onto the irc channel a couple of times for some help configuring a client.. never seen so many cases of sever cranium rectal infusion all in in one place before. I didn't mind telling them either.. so for days it was a battle to keep changing my IP after they would block my IP for the smallest thing, which would make me angry & say more shit.. it was a vicious cycle.

What I like about host is tho you don't have to wade thru all the crap that's on the larger sites. Also knowing you can trust the content makes the whole downloading caper a bit easier.
