Just out of principal I would go for Amnet. I have never dealt with them but they would have to be 110% better than iiNet

Yeah the mods on local don't seem to mind taking their bat & ball home if they don't like how your playing. I logged onto the irc channel a couple of times for some help configuring a client.. never seen so many cases of sever cranium rectal infusion all in in one place before. I didn't mind telling them either.. so for days it was a battle to keep changing my IP after they would block my IP for the smallest thing, which would make me angry & say more shit.. it was a vicious cycle.

What I like about host is tho you don't have to wade thru all the crap that's on the larger sites. Also knowing you can trust the content makes the whole downloading caper a bit easier.

I agree with that, i remember asking them how to create a torrent, they had this big power trip "your inviter should have told you" well that would be good if I actually knew who my inviter was

I also donated to them when they were waixbytes the assholes never gave me the quota they said they would and when I questioned it and had the bank transfer, they said oh well that account has been closed and just donate again. I told that hitman guy that he had to be kidding and I had paid so give me the quota, it bounced backward and forward for 30 posts until I just gave up. Fuckers!

On another note, i wouldn't that machine they have up for raffle. It would make a good boat anchor being a pc and all

iiNet. been with them for ages, had NO problem, infact my work have also just discontinued their contract with Amnet and switched to iiNet because they were experiencing too many problems.

but there are too many iiNet haters here, so im sure ill get burned.

Yeah that dude is a fkn cock smoker, I've pm'd him about a couple of issues & the dude just doesn't reply... how fkn busy can he be? tho being that big-a dick head would almost be a full time job.

And I feel your pain with that site change, I had 10 invites that I'd gotten over the years with donations.. then it's too bad so sad. I would have pumped nearly $200 bucks into that site. Seriously how much fkn money can it cost to run the thing?

No wonder the prick's 'stepping down' as he wrote in his fkn three page, tear jerking autobiography he spammed us all with. The dudes made that much money from these fkn chook raffles they run every 4 days... he's probably retiring.

so im now 1 second faster over 9mb with over 2Mbps increase in line speed and 0.26MB/s faster download speed, but thats just over 9mb. Obviously it would get faster the bigger the download size.
