Yeah i have been told they are loud at speed i might have to have a run with one on the freeway. Maybe ill have to put in some mean doof doof. Id imagine theyd be uncomfortable because of the short wheel base and rigid suspension but once good gear goes in, it would be much improved.
The hard top i find much more stylish and would have to be better security than the canvas, but the main reason for the hard top would be for the wetter weather protection and perhaps a bit more insulation from the heat. Canvas, under conditions turns to shit after a while as well. I will endevour to sus all these options out tho.
About the fuel efficiency, not too bothered by it as said before...plus ive been driving a wrx which admittedly doesnt have the best either for a 4cyl.

have to agree with you paul...used to do a bit of work for chellingworths and have driven a few and they drive like shit...the suspension feels strange and like your in a rocking boat as it seems to feel like they move from side to side...(if that makes any sense)

When discussing certain unique things about a CJ5 or 7, Wrangler, etc would come this response: It's a Jeep thing! if you have to ask then you wouldn't understand. Seriously Jeeps are different to drive but if you want cross a creek bed, up a sleep bank and over some rocks on the Rubicon Trail then you will only pick one vehicle, Jeep!
