Drop me a PM with what your looking for. I'm the Nissan state stock controller for AHG, will hook you up with a contact and decent price.

Yes I have a 2.5 TD MY06 Pathfinder...6 speed manual.
It does eveything I require - offroad down south to surf spots, can carry lots of windsurf gear since the seats fold flat and it easily tows the racecar on a trailer. It has been very reliable and has pretty good economy for its size. Plus it has a fair bit of grunt....
The only issues I've had were the tailgate struts needed replacing at about 60K and the alternator at about 90K.

And they're a lot cheaper than Prados and Pajeros

R51 Pathfinders are a nice rig all round, I work for Nissan too (parts).

They don't have any issue's that I'm aware of.

I can't remember the last time I looked up anything for the YD25 that's in that model (apart from standard service items like filters).

Keep the to the oil service intervals & there will be no dramas.

They go all right with 140 kW and 450 Nm from that donk, not to mention their massive torque spread due to having a variable vane turbo (makes boost just off idle!).

Ok, interior trims tend to flake(door handle, window switch garnish, steering wheel controls). They also tend to chew the factory pads n rotors. Diff pinion seal tend to sweat. Most auto's ran DPF in the exhaust, which needs low ash oil. If is a manual, it runs normal diesel oil but make sure the clutch is not slipping. The dual-mass on them is abit
