Default Is This Mines Tuned Ecu Or Not? Help :) Picture inside - HELP!!

Hi Guys,
I am in need of help, can someone kindly check the below picture and advise if there is a mines chip installed?

The ecu is 6S from a 1997 STI. From the outside, there is the mines plaque and mines tape seal, however, the seal has been broken and I would like confirmation this is as described.

Help )

Waste of coin.

No, it didn't it was re-flashed by Mines (as is the one in your picture - hence the sticker on the eeprom - No one unsolders SMT chips to install their own).

"*We create your VX-ROM based on your factory ECU
to retain the original immobilizer function.
Please send us your original ECU, or visit our shop for reprogramming.
"

But what would Mines know?

Suggest taking a photo of the sticker on the chip - sending it to Mines & asking them what flash it has.

6S ECU code = 440cc injectors, 300ps VF23 turbo

Out of a late 97 V3 JDM STI - a good ecu before being flashed.

Your 97 wrx will have 380cc injectors unless you change to 440's yellow tops you will be lean as fk.

So you're saying, it is not possible to tell from the photo of the circuit board I provided whether this has been tuned by Mines or not?

This is kind of all I want to know

Yes i appreciate all the feedback telling me it is a waste of time..I've decieded to go down this path - 1 it suits my initial budget, 2 i dont plan to mod that often...

Further, obviously I dont want my engine to go bang... So before the car is even road testedwith the ecu, the car will be dyno'd, i'll be running 100 Ron fuel and an SAFC will be tuned accordingly + supporting mods. For those genuinely interested I will post my results.

Yes, I have taken plenty of photos and sent it to the Mines team for further comfirmation.

Regarding whether or not certain models had EEPROMS installed and don't forget I am refering to a car pre 2000 and honestly i am not going to argue with you, you're a very helpful person and quite knowledge.

Let me know your thoughts on this? See the picture below, upper left hand side of the ECU, there is an empty space right... I compared this to another 'Z4' ECU with a working Mines, and there was an EEPROM installed there.. with a yellow sticker on top..

Unless I am on crack, which I will admit if i am wrong, since i am new to this space, it is possible for mines to install an eeprom.
