its always fun fishing no matter where you are , as with the shark you have to bleed them straight up to remove possible ammonia contamination then just fillet as a normal fish fish eh

I didnt take this photo but it was taken by a friend of a friend around Albany (im sure those who have been to (and live in) Albany have heard of places like The Gap, Salmon Holes et al).

Normally i wouldnt post another persons photo, however it might just make someone think twice about walking on rocks between Cape Nat and Esperance.

Was taken during Easter weekend just gone. We've all heard about the fool who was playing silly buggers at the Gap and died. Well this is the next day and another idiot who was VERY VERY lucky. Literally minutes from death had it not been for sea rescue and the family of a man who died there a few years ago. They set up a foundation to install life rings at various South West rocks.

Lots of tourists, photographers, bird watchers and anglers use these rocks. One accidental foot wrong and you WILL slip on that black stuff you can see. If its a big swell, your going to die (as has happened MANY MANY times). If its calm and you have sensible people on the rocks, you might be half ok.'

Oh yeh, its also reasonably deep and if there are salmon around, there WILL be sharks. They might not attack you, but they certainly wont help

One word mat " FOOL" , there are that many bloody signs down there even in the carpark warning of the dangers lurking at the waters edge but you still get the heroes that see the weather is calm and decide to have a look , no fish is worth risking a life for but also the other peoples life that are obligated to try and save yours aswell . A set of gallows down there would be good , just hang a few of the misbeleivers and there will be no rescues needed . Also when i was down ther a few months go it must be a glory thing but the amount of graffiti tags on the life buoy rings well just let them fuckers die
