Default Learning How to use SLR camera!!

After reading a few threads, I know a few of you guys are using SLR cameras. I just went out and got myself a Canon EOS 400D and now I want to learn how to really use it. Are there any websites out there that can give me tips on how to get the most out of my new toy?

i'll give you a hint

read the little manual that comes with it, go take some photos, mess around with modes (my 350d came with a small pocket manual, take it out with you!) once you have played with it THEN go read some tutes, you'll have a far better understanding of what they are talking about

there are heaps of sites out there that will teach you everything u ever need to know about photography. just need to google it...

forums will help too, as ppl will critique ur work and tell u where u went wrong for when u can correct it on your next shot.

i've been captivated by moody HDR shots recently. Here's one I took last night.

I have a 55-200 USM for my 350d, it is an awesome lens. The 70-300 I found you need the tripod for really good shots.

That picture is awesome Hien
