Took the pics using adrians camera (the guy riding the RM 125) - he processed and resized them on his pc - auto watermarked.

Is it just me, or are the muse photos not sharp at all? Maybe just missed the focus...
What lens were you using andefault? They look like results I used to get years ago with a 50mm f1.8 with focussing issues.

Haha if everything is out of focus you generally get glasses

yeah 1 and 5 are a little off though... but the rest are fine. 1 due to excess smoke mucking with autofocus (not allowed flash - so no IR assist from my speedlite); and 5 i took after the first 3 songs (have to leave pit after that) so i was quite far off and shaking like a mo fo only like it because of the muse graphic... haha.
here's another sharper one from the same distance though. sharper but not as attractive in my opinion.

lens was a Nikon 80-200mm f2.8

EDIT: just noticed this pic lost a lot of its sharpness in uploading...

Ahh no speedlight, that probably explains the focus issues.

yeah that tiny little AF assist light on the camera isn't much chop during the night; especially when the stage is covered in impenetrable smoke
i was also amazed at the shear number of canon users at the concert - i WAS the minority

Didn't meet with the government while I was there... Had a blast though... So keen to go back again next year!
