I don't mind the bare flashes actually, gives a heavy contrast over the body which really makes them stand out over the background.
Still i'd be keen to see the softbox results. What power did you have the flashes on?

Hey everyone.

Just thought I'd post up a couple of photos I took of my car on the weekend that Im pretty happy with. Please feel free to give me any feed back on these as Im only very new to using a DSLR and always open to advice that will make my photos look that bit better . Oh and was shot with a Canon 400d

The last shot is next to one of the boat ramp areas on Estuary road in Mandurah. Not to sure on how to give you a link on google maps though but its close to Park Ridge drive if that helps

nah no photoshop.. just used a 10.5mm fish eye DX lens with the hood chopped off so I could shoot @ full frame. So it's 10.5mm full frame

10.5mm good effort always thought 12mm on a full frame would be around max but i guess fish eye are different.

I wonder if this effect could be mimicked by what I thought it was (photoshop barrell distortion fix)??
