This would account for around 20-25kw atw at least imo, well thats what we have found on a roller dyno when i had the fpgreen going from 4th -5th gear..

P.S not hating just dont want people to have too high expectations over here in Perth as we commonly produce much much lower hp ratings then those people over east by a good margin..

The run is done in 4th, and done in 5th and less than 3kw difference.
Mainline is not your std basic dyno, very smart and has software that compensates for road speed. The reason you get different readings is the retarder veins speed has a huge wind drag, and there is a compensation apply to retard speed.

It is a very true 258kw, std it was 152kw, the thing is a rocket, believe it or not, it does the job.
Cheers

Temps are on the chart next to corrections, was 24degs for that pull.

Also add that this turbo comp wheel is very different to a 20g cast wheel, blade height is 8mm more than std, hub is less than half the thickness, blade area is about 40% more, this is the state of the art in turbo design, std 20g is flat out making 220kw on the same setup.

I'll guess the torque figure is the torque of the rollers on the dyno, not the wheels of the car.

Car will be producing 390-400Nm is my guess.
I'll go with Kato's estimate rather than the number on the dyno chart.
257.7kW ATW? Yes! Power band 4000 to 7000rpm. Yes! Very nice.
But 700 to 800 Nm torque? No.

( Torque in Nm = Power in kW times 9551 / engine speed in rpm )

It will be the same peak, just come on earlier.

Michael/Troy... What sort of power/torque do you think this would make on a stock WRX engine/headers with a STi TMIC and some injectors?

STD wrx as in 03-05? big port heads, 9:1, good combo, limits will be sti tmic, the 98 i did went 230 odd with an 09 sti tmic, 18psi, tmic was holding it back.

Not sure if the std cast pistons will take it, they are much stronger pistons than any other cast piston subi used, but how strong, not pushed one yet.

Well I'm more interested in what a MY98 can do, so those figures sound good

What mods on the 98? Wouldn't think the manifold would let you fit a 09 TMIC... 230kw on a GC8 is more than enough imo.
