Default Rc Yachts

Looking at getting a rc Yacht
Is there any one in the forum using rc yachts on local lakes/ponds

Have priced up a yacht at a local hobby shop in midland for around 380.00 Guy at shop had limited knowledge as he said "He was into planes and cars"
Also have been looking online but am looking for a start point and go from there
ie brands
size
ease of use
ease of set up
Have a limited knowledge of where to get yachts in perth and if theres any people with yachts let me

Cheerrs Josh

Yes - I'm sailing 2 x International 1 metres and a Marblehead

(1 Metre @ Matilda Bay)

(The Marblehead is the one with no numbers)

I might be persuaded to part with one of the 1 metre boats for around $450 - with a radio and 3 complete sail sets (pre-rigged for different wind conditions).

Let me know if you're interested or if you'd like to come down for a sail at Jackadder lake in Woodlands/ Inaloo this weekend.

Raced the real thing for years. Do you all stand on the side of the lake and just say starboard to the person next to you?

I always found the yelling and screaming at each other half the fun.

Agreed.

Rubbing panels is racing, even if it's on the river. Overlap!
