the frame in the photo bolts straight to the seats. I doubt that is the base frame from a WRC car. They must have been in a road car already. Rally cars don't have sliding frames, they bolt straight to a bracket, which bolts straight to the car's floor.
THat frame should bolt straight in though, then bolt up the seats.
And, as above, they are f***ing hot.

awesome seats,
but the brackets may make the seat sit a little high. they look similar to my sparco corsa, and i have it mounted about 4cm off the floor on rails where the seat can slide between them, otherwise my head hits the roof, and im not that tall. also it might make it hard to get into the car between the steering wheel and seat but should be ok.

that bracket in the pic is the same one as i have on the LH side.

I dont want to be the twat that bursts the bubble, but if they truly are from one of Petter's S8 WRC cars (aka WRC2002), then they would have the driver and co-drivers names stiched into the head restraint area.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

They are still awesome seats none the less, I could easily maim someone to get them

The base looks like the RA-R one I have in my car...and the seats look like RA-R types so it all should theoretically bolt together and fit in. If you want to lower the seats, you may be able to accomplish this by drilling some lower holes in the base...the issue however could be that that as you drop the seat it will rest on the crossbars and not go any lower.
As said, I doubt if they are from a world rally car...at very best they may be from a recce car...but saying that they are very nice seats.
