Phatskinz my 200,000 service is due and I would recomend doing all idlers, tensioner, waterpump and use genuine cam seals. Yes this is very expsensive but the tensioner may not have been done at 100 000km service and its best to be safe.

Is that $100 to only clear an ecu? I don't think so and I'm sure there are some extra services in there (for instance, the time to diagnose a problem?).

Also a lot of people want to put their car into a workshop (any workshop, be it ASG, RMS, MMS, RT etc) and want them to diagnose problems at no cost. To clear an ecu you need a laptop, cables, time, knowledge on the codes etc etc. This isn't free.

All I'm trying to say is if anyone wants to post positive or negative information about any workshop, give all the details. If anyone tried to charge me $100 for a 5 minute job, I sure as hell wouldn't be accepting it.

and i wouldnt go by the itemisation aswell.

when i used to sell bulk car parts and include labour and such. boss would ask for $500 all together. so we just made up prices, aslong as the total was what he asked for.
