can any body tell me what verso would cost on a my 01 tbo back zorst fmic intake.

he currently has ecutek installed just the generall uplaoded map one size fits all type.

would i be right in saying to him he would benifit in getting verso in and getting a proper tune done. ? gains , bit more power ?e etc etc

and what would the cost be around abouts

Thanks

To the first question.. Call them personally tim :)

Any good tune will benefit your car noticably, power coming on much earlier/smoother, increase in torque and generally an all round better tune for your car. ESPECIALLY him having a front mount, you would want some kind of ecu to control A/F ratios. The 01s are self learning pieces of poo, and will compensate for any changes made to the intake/fuel system and generally run them rich.

+1 for Verso .. Will definitely make an improvement.

Look at REXZIST's Dyno Graph in the Chest Beating thread.

yeah cool any one got the number to ring ill try give them a buzz tomorrow.
i was basically telling my friend that it would defiently benifit him by changing to verso even though he already has ecutek i just think the tune isnt as good and no time put in.

but id hate to tell him to do all this and then not get any gains from it.. lol

my god.... phone book anyone... All Star Garage 9248 7433, i believe your friend will need to buy a new ecu or have the ecutek removed by whoever did it in order to have the verso done, as they are not allowed to remove an ECUTEK map or wipe an ECUTEK map from your mates ecu. Generally its either get it removed or buy a new ecu to verso.

really why not.do they lock the ecu out.. im pretty sure its not locked i know he has been to two different ecutek dealers.
