hey peeps, good friend of mine just called me, he was on his way to a cruise at city west, launched it hard an the diff went, he's been having issues with the diff for a while...

he has a 04 evo8 wrx, if you have a diff available please let me know asap, preferably the stock 4.44, 4.11, or 3.9. if you have a 3.9 then ill give him my shafts. cheers

Unless the car has been converted to RWD I would be very surprised if the rear diff has broken. Or unless it's been 'rebuilt' by someone already?

you'll be suprised, this guy is INSANE lol, he's gone through seven sets of brake pads in 2 yrs, he dont drive normal, awsome driver though

yea he'll have a chat to Doug, he just called me to see if i can suss anythin out 4 him before he goes there, i have a set of 3.99 shafts sittin here, so if we can get a matchin diff we'll be laughin oh an he wants to upgrade to brembo's, so if anyone is sellin

The shafts are not specific to the ratio, only the type of LSD and the year of manufacture.

If he's smashing rear diffs then he would be better off getting into a R180 rear end set up, especially if he's wanting Brembo brakes as well, that makes the whole conversion simpler.

I can get my hands on that set up minus calipers if he's keen.
