Default WTB 2 way rear diff

Hi all,

Looking for a 2-way rear diff to pair with a 3.54 ratio 6spd gbox.

R160

Cheers,
Jeremy

I have only limited understanding about drive ratios and such...

But can the centre from that diff be swapped into my 3.54 housing?

Yes it can. As long as they are both R160's.

do you really want a 2 way centre?

you state that you only limited understanding about drive ratios and such...

better off with a 1 or at worst 1.5 way.

agreed, 2way if you want to consign the car to light on-road duties and track days only.

its another step towards making a car less daily.

I understand the difference between the centres. Just unsure of compatibility and such.

I'm hoping the 2-way will provide a more 'predictable' back end. And coupled with a DCCD centre, could be a bit of fun!

I have a dedicated GX Liberty for daily duties now, so I thought, why not! Already have the rest of the package...and I avoid driving the WRX on the road to keep tread on the AD08s for events... Running 3 degree camber in the front now.

i used to have a 2 way in my forester with 5spd dccd, was awesome fun & very predictable, sold the diff to alex, here's a vid of it in his car but running a 6spd dccd gearbox, i think you'll like it
