Looks like I have a dying coil pack......

It was breaking down a little over the last week at anything over 1.45 bar and now it won't behave above 1.2.........Bugger!

Injectors are in and I've rescaled their sizing in the power fc - mixtures are spot on with them scaled at 79% (so that gives me an approximate flow of 787cc (440+79% = 787))

The coils might be cooked from being over dwelled (over saturated) I had them set up for 30 m/sec of dwell but with the map being reset by someone anonymous at some stage over the last 2 years they might have finally began to die (the PFC runs 240ms dwell for the oem coil pack and I'm running GD coil on plug jobbies).

My Datalogit hasn't arrived from NZ yet but thankfully Mr Fobz is lending me his tomorrow so I might be able to reload my entire map from 2012...... Or at least be able to diagnose the ignition problem a little better.

Looks like I'm going to be hitting Gav up to borrow a set of coils........ I can't seem to get rid of the missfire

I re-earthed the coils today among other things and there's no improvement...... Hoping my PFC isn't dying......

loving the Tech Edge LCD wideband display - it doesn't disappear like the red LED ones do in direct sunlight

Happy to report back that Gav's loaner coils sorted my mis-fire issue - Thanks Gav! (I've just ordered myself a new set of coils)

I've installed the new injectors and now the max injector duty is 74% @ 1.61 bar.

I've done some new mapping for United's P100 and so far all is looking good!

State of the tune as it is right now: - needs more timing on boost but I'm of the gently-gently approach, I add a degree at a time until the knock index starts to lift into the low 30's. It's a process that takes me a few hours of tweaking/logging & tonight wasn't the night for it.

Anywhoo - Target AFR's V's Actual logged AFR's are close to perfect, injector duty is down by 25% and the miss is gone - a pretty good result so far

Tuning night 2 - perfectly cold!

I've dropped the boost to 1.55 bar (22.5Psi), added a little more fuel and added some timing....

Like 10 degrees of timing on boost!!

Net result?

The thing just ramps up and fucks off!

Pulls harder than ever before, I found the torque I was looking for (and then some)

'Samantha' is finally getting her shit together!!
