yeah i just think the mentality of mms is more towards the rally side of things. Steve said it himself, to win a rally first the car has to finish, conservative tunes...when he was tuning it he wound the boost up a bit and it made less power, probably just to prove a point to me but all the asg cars are making power using way more boost than me, mine was only runing 18.5 when it popped...as i said i was going to see what results sean could get with the car before it went boom boom

Just spoke to Nic, the price varies a bit with the us/au dollar but at the moment they are around $1360 AUD and are in stock.

beats $1600 on ebay, thanks mat.

once the engine is pulled apart and we know whats wrong, i'll start seriously looking into head cam options...realistically the car wont be on the road for 2-3 months id say, hope to make rexpo in april but i guess we'll see how it pans out.

just picked it up from staces place in pinjarra and trailered it home, ill film a vid if mms crank it over tomorrow, had to start it today to get it on the trailer clak clak clak...

dropped the car to mms this morning, turned it over so graham could have a listen...he described it perfectly.."sounds like a little man in there hitting a hammer" the noise is the piston hitting the heads so its definately ej207 time, as always mms are busy so will be a while before they pull the motor down and we can start planning the new build.

thats fine with me as my money tree is well and truly crippled atm
