I cbf searching...

Did you source the HKS kit or was that recommended by MMS? Curious if there are any differences between it and all the other stroker kits available.

Keen to see the V-mount fit up!

Oh and to whoever added that tag, go eat a bag of dick you jealous cunt. I'm a full time uni student and i work my ass off to fund this build, like any project I needed some capital to get it off the ground. Couldn't care less what you think, I'm more than happy with the decision i made. The trade off of paying a little interest to fulfill a dream right now is an insignificant one.

Considering I've virtually finished a double degree in accounting and financial planning, I'm well aware of how I am sitting financially and have assessed all the options. Feel free to make yourself known via PM so i can have a good laugh at your pathetic excuse for a life. That is all.
Dont worry mate, cunts just get jealous and all. Wish I could get a loan to fix up everything at the moment ! Busted car with about $8k to get it back on the road to a nice state, that includes alot of other things though motors the cheaper bit for me just a nice rebuild atm no more power mods .

MMS had a look at all the kits available aka JUN, Tomei, Cosworth etc and decided HKS was the best option, apparently they use some of the same parts as cosworth. I've had a bit of a look on the net for info on it and there isn't a heap available from what i can see. I would assume most of the EJ stroker kits are pretty similar, if you look closely at the pistons on my kit you can see the anodised gold tops, the structure of the underside of the piston itself is pretty different to all the dead pistons Graham at MMS has in his graveyard.

the crank looks different to a subaru 2.5 crank, I'm pretty sure its billet and lighter than a standard item as well. As jamie said the rods look nice and beefy compared to standard items.

I'm very keen to see how the V-mount goes too!

Sexxy time Chad... I really love that his crank...

Vmount is going to be BIG win should perform exactly the same as mine so u would expect around 500rpm better spool up IMO..
