Default Intercooler Spray Detail

Factory Button in place

Honeywell Adjustable Hobbs Switch

This is where the Type RA bottle goes, problem is the Aus delivered GC8 has ABS unit sitting here. Type RA doesnt have ABS.

So, change factory WRX window washer bottle for wagon/STi bottle with twin pumps. Use second pump normally used for rear window washer for intercooler spray.

Drill 8mm holes in shroud, use square or triangle file to make correct shape and then insert factory nozzles.

Volia. Factory Squirters in place.

Nice Dave very stock looking too.
I really need to do this on the Foz with my PW TMIC as Kev predrilled the holes for it on the PW shroud already.

Surprisingly easy know that Doug has shown me how to do it.

Hobbs switch is only about $30. Connection fittings $9.
Some window washer hose, cable ties and electrical wire.
Biggest cost is the spray nozzles. New Subaru genuine ones are $46 EACH.

Needless to say I didnt pay that much.

Yeh. GC's have 2, GD's have one.

No worries. Happy to lend a hand.

I did this as it should be good for keeping down intake temp for rallysprint, etc when using a lot of WOT.
