$59K don't you mean? And yeah certainly does seem worth it, especially when there is enough gap (a few kms) between me and the next car and I open it up! It's not so much the power but how it delivers the power, mindblowing is the best way to describe it.

I'm trying to keep it as stock looking as possible, which is also why I opted not to go for carbon fibre everything.

You're going bigger than a GT4088R??
That's the spirit!!

However, I know this changes with the key turned... as even it idle it sounds good... and following it... even better. (Not that you could see the car - the tune was a little... ahhh.... richhhhhhhhhh, you could say).

Hope to read a full break down of mods in the near future. Congrats on the purchase.

Brent.
Thanks, and yeah a bit rich is so much of an understatement it's not funny! Now I'm not one to have a powerful car and then complain about fuel economy but this is worse than my first ever car which had a Hemi 265 highly worked with triple webbers and I think that it is 99% as a result of the rotational anti-lag at idle. ASG said that they were told to make it loud first then fast second so when it goes back there on Wednesday for it's tune and service I'll be doing things a little bit differently than Wai. I'm well and truly past the stage in my life where I wanted everyone to look at me at the lights, now I prefer people to underestimate me as the shock factor when you do leave them behind wondering what happened is pure gold.

wtf...thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard, he should have bought a 5 L and chopped the exhaust off instead of spending 120k on an STi..i know id rather have peoples jaws dropping at the sheer speed of the the thing rather than blocking their ears because of noise.

in saying that i like my external gate and it does have a function so when my builds done it'll still be a bit of screamer

Not yet, I'm starting to lean towards keeping both cars but that all depends on how the tune goes next week, and how the exhaust goes with the bigger muffler and resonator tomorrow because as it is now it's still far too loud to not expect to get yellow stickered next time I'm at the lights next to a copper.

Yes that was definitely me, on one of my many missions to exhaust or brake places no doubt
