Thanks. And yeah I have a couple of "private" roads set aside for me with open speed limits but in the interests of the local community I allow other vehicles to use them when I'm not using them, just my way of putting something back into the community

If I read it correctly, seeing as I don't have a roll cage or arm restraint things there wouldn't be much point going down there as I wouldn't be able to race not to mention I don't have a helmet although that part is easier solved than the roll cage is.

On that note, what are the laws regarding roll cages on street cars? I always thought they were illegal unless factory fitted but then again I always thought Nitrous Oxide was illegal too...

You don't need any cage etc at WAW until you drop a 10.99. Anything above that and you can go nuts. you DO however need a fairly new helmet, it needs to be the new standard AS/NZS not the AS standard. For some rediculous reason, the standard itself has not changed, just the name, but the motorplex take it upon themselves to reject you regardless.

I have a half cage in my car which is street legal. Convincing a police officer that has walked up to your car with the yellow sticker already filled out on the other hand, might prove hard. I carry a copy of the appropriate act in my glove box.
